Group members: Charlotte Stokes, Rachel Gaffney and Laura Burroughs.
Within our group we have a wide range of different strengths that we can pull together to produce a high quality peice of media.
Today we sat down as a group to finalise what idea we want to carry out. We have decided we want to create a music video. We were bouncing between video or print. As none of us have as much experience with print as we have video, we decided we would be able to produce a higher quality video than magazine! One of the members within the group, Rachel Gaffney, as part of their GCSE have already created a music video, therefore has experience in what works and what won't work.
Our concerns about a music video were getting an unsigned band that we could conduct our own primary research to produce a video to represent them. We don't want to use a well known artist that already has a big reputation, therefore people having an opinion of them, as we would have to play to their current reputation. We concluded by using an original artist, the research can be alot more personal, there will be know pre-affirmed judgements and we can have alot more freedom to play around with diferent ideas without expectation.

Below is a link to the specification for our course. By having this hyperlink easily accessable will mean I can constantly refer to the page to make sure I am keeping on track. It will also be helpful as I can be sure I know exactly what is expected of my work and what needs to be done.
